Koonz & Beaulieu Lakes — press & word of mouth
A volunteer association protecting two lakes, their water, and the people who enjoy them.
Who we are
The Koonz & Beaulieu Lake Association is a volunteer group of lake owners and neighbors. We monitor water quality, watch for invasive weeds, and work with local agencies to keep both lakes clean and healthy. Our work is done by members, for members — and it has been for decades. Word of mouth
I've owned our lot for thirty years, and the water has only gotten better since the association started doing its monitoring. It shows up in the clarity, and it shows up in the fish.
We joined the weed watch program one season and it completely changed how we see the lake. You learn what's actually going on, and you're part of fixing it.
The lake hosts are the reason our neighborhood still feels like a neighborhood. They're on the water every weekend, and the difference is real.
